Sarajevo welcomes Paralympians
"A reception organized by the City of Sarajevo and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Sarajevo Canton will be held today, Monday at 3 pm in front of the Sarajevo City Hall," the Public Relations Department of the City of Sarajevo announced. The Bosnia and Herzegovina Paralympic team returns from Paris with two silver medals.
"A reception will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. in front of Sarajevo City Hall," the City Administration confirmed.
Ismail Barlov, a brilliant 13-year-old para-swimmer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris, competing in the 50-meter breaststroke. In the final race, he achieved a time of 1:02.74, and only Mexican Arnulfo Castorena was ahead of him.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina sitting volleyball team won a silver medal after defeating the Iranian team in the final, once again confirming that it is among the best teams in the world.
