Our Olympian Strahinja Erić delivered an excellent performance in cross-country skiing in the 10 km freestyle and, among 113 competitors, claimed a great 63rd place at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

This is his second Olympics, a confirmation of continuity, character and dedicated work.

Coaches Mladen Plakalović and Dragan Jefović emphasize that the result exceeded expectations, another victory of knowledge, persistence and commitment.

A victory achieved against the system of large teams and long traditions. Such performances send a clear message again: Bosnia and Herzegovina has talent, brave and quality athletes, but for greater achievements a stable and well-organized sports system is needed.

The Olympic Committee of BiH congratulates Strahinja and his coaches. We will reward their effort and success, and as always, stand by our Olympians.
