At the World Speed Skating Championship held last weekend in Rotterdam (Holland), BiH senior representative Tarik Omeragić won 16th place in the 1500 meter race.

Our representative is in strong competition with 58 of the best speed skaters in the world, had an excellent performance and managed to enter the semi-finals of the World Championship with a time of 2:22.656.

Although he achieved a time of 2:21.96 in the semi-final, Tarik unfortunately failed to qualify for the World Championship final.

Tarik was one place short of placing among the 15 finalists, and in the final ranking he took 16th place.
