The 1st EU Cup for children with developmental disabilities

BIH competitors won five medals.

The European Judo Union, with the technical support of the Judo Club “Fuji”, organized the first European Cup for children with developmental disabilities in Velika Gorica.

Over 140 competitors from 14 countries (Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Israel, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Bulgaria and France) took part in the European Cup.

Competitors from JK “Borac” Banja Luka and JK “Borsa” Mostar represented the BiH Judo Federation, and five of them achieved historic results for judokas from Bosnia and Herzegovina, winning one gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

The medals were won by:

Kristijan Suručić - JK “Borac” - Gold medal
Kenan Smailagić - JK “Borac” - Silver medal
Filip Balaban - JK “Borac” - Silver medal
Milan Mitrić - JK “Borac” - Bronze medal
Josip Marić - JK “Borsa" - Bronze medal
