The captain of the BiH handball team, Mirsad Terzić, said goodbye to the national jersey
After more than two decades spent in the jersey of the BiH national team, Mirsad Terzić said goodbye to playing for the national team.
He played 175 games for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which makes him an absolute record holder. He played in one world and two European championships, and he holds the record for the number of goals scored (460).
Mirsad made his first appearance for the BiH national team on January 14, 2001 against the Turkish national team, while his last appearance for the BiH national team was exactly 23 years and one day later, on January 15 this year against the Georgian national team.
Terzić is currently a member of Wisla Plock, with whom he won two Polish Cups, and before that he wore the Veszprem jersey from 2009 to 2020.
In his long rich career, he also played for HC Celje, RK Zagreb, HC Izviđač and home team HC Željezničar.
We are grateful to Mirsad for everything he did for Bosnia and Herzegovina handball and we are sure that this departure does not end his role in relation to the national team and sports of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
