The Mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić hosted a festive lunch at the "Vučko" hotel on the Jahorina mountain for the Olympic family, OC BiH, representatives of the IOC, EOK and NOC of the region, former athletes and Olympians from 1984 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Olympic Games. year since the WOG Sarajevo '84 was held.

On behalf of the hosts, the mayor of the city of East Sarajevo Ljubiša Ćosić  welcomed the guests and emphasized the readiness and desire for future Olympic projects, which will continue to inherit Olympic values.

President of the OC BiH, academician prof. dr Izet Rađo highlighted the strategic path that is based on the rich Olympic history, and which we are taking together towards the realization of the idea of hosting the Youth Olympic Games in 2032.

The first adviser to the President of the IOC, Pere Miro, greeted those present, who expressed his gratitude to the hosts and expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the Olympic spirit is present after so many years and expressed hope for new joint Olympic endeavors.
