The NOC BIH supported the success of Lana Pudar
The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly congratulates Lana Pudar, her family, the BIH Swimming Federation, the club, and the coaches on achieving the A norm for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Given that Lana Pudar was the first and so far the only one to meet the A norm for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Executive Committee of the NOC BIH approved additional funds in the amount of 30.000 BAM for the continuation of preparations and performances until the beginning of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, with the aim of achieving the best possible results until and at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This is a continuation of the "Program+" of the NOC BIH for our best athletes, i.e. obvious Olympic candidates for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, such as our Lana Pudar. With this program, NOC BIH specifically supports elite athletes/potential Olympians in their efforts to achieve top results at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
NOC BIH will also support other top athletes who win the A norm for the Paris 2024 Olympics from the moment of achieving the A norm.
NOC BIH provides scholarships for 14 athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, potential Olympians, for a period of 32 months, and supports the 5 best Olympians with additional funds through the "Program+" in addition to the regular scholarship.
We hope that the ministries and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina responsible for financing sports will follow the example of supporting top athletes, as is done by the non-budgetary beneficiary Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
