The President of OK BiH visited the House of Sports Legends
At the invitation of the president of the Board of Directors of the Association of Sports Veterans of Novi Sad, Dr. Jovan Pejčić, President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, academician prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, visited the House of Sports Legends of Novi Sad. Vice-president of the Board of Directors Vasa Mijić, general secretary Slobodan Krneta and vice-president of the Board of Directors and program director, Dobrivoje Antonić, participated in discussions about the experiences of the Association, as the only one of its kind in Serbia and the possibilities of cooperation with sports veterans of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit of the OK BiH delegation to the event of the Association "In Glory of Sport" in December of this year, which marks the jubilees of the greatest sports results of Novi Sad athletes, was agreed upon, as well as the return visit of the Association's delegation to Sarajevo.
The authors of the monographs Novi Sad Olympians and Giants of Novi Sad sport Dobrivoje Antonić and Slobodan Krneta presented the books to academician Rađo.
Academician Rađo is a university professor, with a rich sports career as a top athlete, holder of a black belt (6th DAN) in judo. With the Judo club "Željezničar" from Sarajevo, he was a three-time champion of the former Yugoslavia (1981-1984), vice-champion of Europe (1982) and third in Europe (1983).
On this occasion, Pejčić and Rađo recalled their joint performance for the Judo club "Željezničar", when they won European medals in the same team.
