The second module of the Advanced Sport Management Courses was organized by the Olympic Committeeof BiH on Wednesday and Thursday, 10th, 11th of June.

Advanced Sport Management Courses are a comprehensive educational program designed for employees of sport organizations to expand their knowledge of managerial skills, and their cumulative effects are long-term and will serve to create a sport community that aims to share experiences and knowledge. The program follows the basic management areas and the expected duration is 7 modules in the duration of 2 working days per each module. The program is fully dictated by the IOC, and is designed in collaboration with more than 150 world-renowned experts in sports management and includes learning about key competencies necessary for successful management of sport organizations: organizing an Olympic sport organization, strategic management, human resource management, financial management, marketing, sport event organization and project management. 

The two-day program includes the presentation of the "Case Study" of the organizations from which 24 course participants come, and courses in one of the thematic units. The topic of the second module was strategic management of sport organizations, which includes creating the necessary conditions for the preparation and beginning of the strategic planning process, evaluation, development and implementation of plans that achieve strategic goals, and assessment of strategy implementation. By presenting the Case Study, exchanging experiences and studying the literature at their disposal, participants were given the opportunity to learn how to successfully implement changes and lead their organizations more effectively.
