Today, the 2nd General Assembly of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held, during which all reports were unanimously approved amidst numerous compliments from delegates representing 43 sports federations of BiH.
At this session, the Olympic Committee of BiH was enriched by two new members: the Biathlon Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Esports Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Membership agreements were officially signed during the event.
The Assembly was chaired by President of OK BiH, Academician Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, supported by Vice President Davor Komšić, with Vice President Vico Zeljković excused.
The Supervisory Board’s report was presented by Dr. Tarik Kurbegović, the Work Report for 2024 by Secretary General Dr. sci. Said Fazlagić, the Financial Report for 2024 and Financial Plan for 2025 by Senior Associate Jasmin Hodžić. The Work Plan for 2025 was also presented by Secretary General Fazlagić, along with Associate Dejana Planinčić and Ema Habul.
All delegates unanimously adopted the presented reports.
Following a 20-minute video summarized the Olympic Committee’s activities in 2024, delegates and guests expressed high praise for the scope and quality of the work, emphasizing its fruitful and harmonious cooperation focused on elite sports and athletes.
Building on the conclusions from the 2023 General Assembly, where delegates clearly expressed the importance of continuing the systematic funding campaign for top-level sports—directed at relevant ministries—and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s best athletes, a symposium titled “Vision and the Path to L.A. 2028” was held after the session.
