We strengthen society with sports values - together

Representatives of partner organizations from the Western Balkans and the European Union were guests of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee from 22 to 24 June.

The visit to Montenegro was organized within the framework of the project “Sport as a Value”, which was co-financed through the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

The initiative aims to promote positive values through amateur sports and strengthen society. The project focuses on five core values: inclusion, equality, integrity, respect, and fair play.

During the visit, a meeting was organized at which 19 representatives from 7 organizations (ENGSO, OPES; EAS; ESP; OK BIH; MOK; Albanian Olympic Committee, and Olympic Committee of Kosovo) discussed the progress of the project and future activities, including the organization of the final conference in November this year.

Joint activities were also organized during the celebration of Olympic Day, including a “Friendship Club” for the youngest visitors. Over 200 children were introduced to the core values through various sports activities.

🇪🇺 Sports as Value is an Erasmus+ capacity-building project in the field of sport in which the Western Balkan countries and the EU have joined forces for a common goal: integrating positive values into sports practice and building a stronger community through sport and promoting EU values.
