Zakira Pušina, European Cadet Vice Champion

Young Bosnian-Herzegovinian shooter Zakira Pušina won a silver medal in the U-16 category at the European Championship held in Tallinn, Estonia.

Zakira Pušina, a national representative and member of the Sarajevo Shooting Club, became the European vice-champion in the women's air rifle discipline for U-16, earning a silver medal.

The talented fifteen-year-old competitor also set a new national record with a score of 413.5 points.

Zakira's winning effort until the very end is reflected in the fact that gold and the European record slipped away from her by just 0.3 decimals, resulting in the proud display of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the highest mast.

Additionally, another representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amir Memišević, a member of the Sarajevo Shooting Club, had an excellent performance, finishing in eighth place in the same discipline and setting a new national record with a score of 410.4 points. The European Championship is ongoing, and further good results from Bosnian competitors are expected.

Congratulations to Zakira, her coach, the club, and the Shooting Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
